Australian Television Crews and post production
Welcome to our website. Thanks for dropping by. We are following the trend of building our own site (from scratch) using some of the wonderful tools that are readily available for everyone, not just the web gurus. Feel free to drop by from time to time (we are building the site when we get the time) and check out our news about what we are up to in the Australian TV scene. The picture (left) shows Mira Image owner David Mirabella at work. Here he is getting a close up at the Australian War Memorial as part of Paramount's Gallipoli commemorative DVD release. For the DVDs "Special Features" we filmed interviews with Director Peter Weir, Producer Pat Lovell as well as cast members Mark Lee, Robert Grubb, Tim McKenzie and David Argue.
Ever since David Mirabella took the bold step to leave Channel 9 (back in 1995) and pursue his freelance career, Mira Image has been out on the road; filming everything from well-known celebrities to nervous CEO's and passionate story tellers . Along the way we have worked for the BBC, CNN, and NBC. However the mainstay of our business has been Australian TV.
Thanks to Apple and the rest of the tech industry we have been able to take the edit suite out of the expensive Post-Production studio environment and literally put it into the back of the van and take it on location. We would love to avoid using the cliche 'end-to-end' solution, but there just isn't any better term. We own and operate all the gear - with no compromises to quality. So if you want to tell your story and need someone to help you tell it....
